Introduction

Islands are the map of your progression. Blox Fruits splits its world into three seas, and each island inside a sea has a level band that tells you whether the enemies there are worth your time. The first sea runs from the starter island through Jungle, Pirate Village, Desert, Frozen Village, Marine Fortress, the Skylands, Prison, Colosseum, Magma Village, Underwater City and Fountain City. The second sea opens at roughly level 700 with Kingdom of Rose and continues through Green Zone, Graveyard, Snow Mountain, Hot and Cold, the Cursed Ship, Ice Castle and Forgotten Island toward 1500. The third sea starts around Port Town at 1500 and climbs through Hydra Island, Great Tree, Floating Turtle, Haunted Castle, Sea of Treats, Tiki Outpost and Submerged Island. Fighting inside your band is the single biggest efficiency lever in the game.

First Sea

Levels 1 to roughly 700

RouteStarter island, then Jungle, Pirate Village, Desert, Frozen Village, Marine Fortress, Skylands, Prison, Colosseum, Magma Village, Underwater City and Fountain City in roughly that order.
FocusLearn the quest loop, build your first weapon Mastery, and unlock Haki. Bosses here are the cheapest source of early swords and accessories.
Watch OutThe early maps stop paying quickly once you outlevel them. Move on when quest rewards shrink instead of clearing the same island again.

Second Sea

Levels 700 to 1500

RouteKingdom of Rose opens the sea, then Green Zone, Graveyard, Snow Mountain, Hot and Cold, the Cursed Ship, Ice Castle and Forgotten Island carry you to the third sea gate.
FocusRaids and Fragments become central here, and race progression opens up. This is where a settled build matters more than a lucky drop.
Watch OutThe jump from first sea gear to second sea enemies is harsh. Arrive with an in-band weapon and a real fruit rather than a starter kit.

Third Sea

Levels 1500 to the 3000 cap

RoutePort Town around 1500, Hydra Island near 1575, Great Tree near 1700, Floating Turtle near 1775, Haunted Castle near 1975, Sea of Treats near 2075, Tiki Outpost near 2450 and Submerged Island near 2600.
FocusNarrow bands mean small level gains per island, so efficient quest chaining matters far more than raw playtime. Endgame builds and raid readiness arrive here.
Watch OutA finished fruit or awakening starts to matter. Players who coast on early gear hit a wall around the middle of this sea and lose hours to slow clears.

Sea Gates

The requirements that block each transition

How They WorkEach sea is entered through a specific route with its own requirement. The map therefore doubles as a progression checklist rather than a free-roam world.
Why It MattersMost stalled accounts are blocked by a gate they have not satisfied, not by a lack of levels. Checking the gate first saves hours of pointless grinding.
Practical TipFinish the last quest chain of your current sea before farming levels, then confirm the transition route. Bookmark the island order so you never backtrack blindly.

Core Mechanics

Each sea is a self-contained progression ladder. You arrive with a level requirement, work through islands in roughly ascending order, and each island offers a quest giver whose chain pays Beli and experience for killing local enemies. That is why the map doubles as a checklist: if quests on your current island have stopped paying well, you are either above the band or missing the next chain. Sea transitions are gated, so the last islands of one sea exist to push you to the requirement for the next. The third sea's bands are the tightest, moving in steps of roughly a hundred levels at a time, such as Port Town near 1500, Hydra Island near 1575, Great Tree near 1700 and Floating Turtle near 1775.

Advantages

Knowing the band for every island removes the most common source of wasted hours. Players who fight two bands above their level take far longer per kill and earn almost nothing, while players one band below clear quickly and still get paid. The island list also tells you where to find specific content: bosses sit on known islands, chest routes follow the quest lines, and the sea gates show exactly what blocks your next unlock. Because the third sea is divided into narrow bands, it doubles as a fine-grained grind plan rather than a vague direction. Finally, mapping islands to quest givers means you can chain multiple objectives in one trip instead of sailing back and forth.

Challenges

The main limitation is that band boundaries are approximate. Community sources agree on the broad strokes, such as the first sea running to about 700 and the second sea covering roughly 700 to 1500, but exact cut-offs vary slightly between guides and can shift with updates. Island content also changes: secrets, chest spawns and event areas are added or moved without much documentation. Another practical issue is travel time, because ocean crossing makes a near island expensive without a boat. Finally, some islands exist mainly as quest hubs with little value once their chain is done, so the map is not a list of equal farming spots.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get to the second sea?+
Reaching the second sea is a level gate rather than a single quest. You work through the first sea island chain until you satisfy the requirement, then take the transition route that opens the second sea. Because the first sea runs to roughly level 700, plan your last stretch around the final islands and their quest chains instead of grinding early maps. Once you arrive, Kingdom of Rose is the natural starting point, and the second sea's islands continue in ascending order toward Forgotten Island near 1500.
Which island should I grind at my level?+
Pick the highest island whose band still contains your level, not the highest island you can physically reach. If kills take more than a few seconds and quest rewards feel small, you are too high and should step down one island; if enemies die instantly and rewards are capped, you are too low and should step up. In the third sea the bands are narrow enough that this rule works almost island by island, with steps like Port Town near 1500 and Hydra Island near 1575 giving you a clear next target.
Are there secrets or hidden areas on the islands?+
Yes, islands contain chest spawns and hidden spots beyond the main quest line, and these are exactly the details that community guides disagree about most. Because the developers do not publish a chest map, any route you follow is a player report and may be out of date after an update. Treat secret locations as bonuses: sweep the areas your quests already take you through, note where chests appear, and do not build a session around a single reported spawn. The reliable income remains quest chains plus the chests on your route.

Quick Tips

💡

Take a boat before you plan multi-island sessions. Without one, travel between islands eats a large share of your play time, and a route that looks efficient on the map becomes two long swims. The boat is one of the cheapest upgrades relative to the time it returns, and it makes chest sweeps and boss checks practical.

💡

Match your quest turn-ins to the island band, not to the enemies you happen to see. Quest givers on your band pay the best experience per kill, and a full chain on an in-band island usually beats scattered kills on three different maps. If you find yourself sailing constantly, you are probably outside your band.

💡

When progression stalls, check the sea gate before you grind harder. Many players assume they need more levels when they actually need the next island's quest chain to unlock the route forward. Read the requirement, complete the last chain in your current sea, and only then return to grinding for levels.
